Dr Herrera visits a variety of nursing homes like Vosswood Nursing and Rehab and assisted living facilities like Ella Springs
Dr Herrera's Philosophy
My philosophy is to listen to patients, make the correct diagnosis, use a wholistic approach to prevent complications and manage their medical problems. In addition I provide close follow up and I am easily available by phone.

Diabetes Program
We provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for diabetes. We prescribe diabetes meds that help your heart and kidneys and we avoid insulin. We order 24 hour glucose monitors. Ozempic and diabetic supplies
Weight loss program
He have a comprehensive weight loss program. We check you for hormone imbalance, heart disease, , breathing problems which are complications of being overweight. We prescribe weight loss meds such as Wegovy and others.
IV therapy
We administer IV therapy supervised by a Nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant. We treat disease like dehydration and kidney failure and weakness
Nursing Home Care
Dr Herrera visits nursing home weekly to treat illnesses such as Alzheimer's, memory loss, stroke, skin infections, pneumonia, heart problems, falls, and inability to walk
Wound Care
Wounds need prompt attention and serious complications such as pain, paralysis, blood infections and amputations may occur. We provide comprehensive evaluations for wounds to prevent these complications. We perform blood tests, wound cultures, circulation testing and send to vascular surgeon specialist to improve the circulation when necessary.

We offer a variety of preventative care services such as alzheimer's screening, fall prevention, mamograms, pap smears , diet counseling, blood testing and wellness exams. We refer to specialist for colonoscopy and eye exams.
Acute Symptoms
We offer diagnostics for many acute symptoms such as fever, cough, ear infections, flu, coronavirus, hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, heart attack, stroke, and other illnesses. We have IV therapy available when needed
Revelation Hospice Services
